A regular day of my life

I generally wake up at or around 7 30 am, to the whining of my lil dog, a 1yr old miniature dachshund; he would be sitting by my side every morning , pleading with those oh-so-innocent eyes, to take him out for his usual nincompoopery. I can’t help but give in to his innocence and then push my better-half out of the bed to take the dog for a walk.
I and my wifey have an agreement that I will walk the dog before we turn in for the night and she will do it first thing in the morning. Works well for me, as I am not at all a morning person and to get up early to go to office is bad enough for me, so to walk a dog in the morning (no matter how much I adore him) is just not my cup of tea.
By the time I scratch and scrub my way out of the bathroom and dress up; wifey gets the breakfast on the table, which I enjoy munching while browsing through the news channels for a quick info byte. I then bid goodbye to her and my cute dog and start for office, a 10 min drive from my home.
The office clock generally chimes 9 times as I enter my corridor on the 3rd floor and head to my cube, greeting my colleagues on the way.

As most of my business and maintenance team is in Sweden and Poland; half of their day is already over by the time I get in, I meet with my manager in Sweden to follow up on the project update and assess the day’s work for the team here. After digging through my emails and a couple of coffees, I hop on to a couple of news and sports sites to catch the latest action. The mornings in the office go by very quickly and I make my way back home for lunch at around 12 noon. I am always greeted by my over-enthusiastic puppy that does his jumps to show how much he missed me. Then I feast on the delicious lunch that wifey prepares and head back to office. The whole lunch takes around 1 – 1:15 hrs.
Post-lunch, I have a couple of coffees again to keep me awake till its time to go home.
I make my way through work and usually about 5 pm, I head home or sports club, depending on the weekday. I spent an hour playing racquetball with my colleague on every alternate day of the week, at a sports club near my house. Wifey jogs and runs on treadmill while I play my game. Once back home, I again hit the shower and slip into something comfortable for the night, and take my dog out for a walk. Wifey prepares dinner by that time, and we both eat together while watching TV (usually whatever wifey wants to watch is what I like to see; I am told this is how I am suppose to feel).
Then, I prepare tea for wifey with specific instructions about the quantity of milk, water and tea leafs (I try messing it up so many times with the hopes that one day she would be fed up and stop asking me for the tea).
We usually turn-in for night by 11-11 30 pm, unless it’s the weekend; in which case we generally are out for a movie or dinner, or just hang out with our friends.
